about necc The North East Change Centre (necc) was established early in 1997 through a joint initiative by public service organisations in the north east of England. The aim was to create a local capacity to help develop new policies and thinking centred on the agenda for change. That original vision is still the driving force of necc, energising the capacities of organisations to think and work together in new ways, across their traditional boundaries, creating new opportunities for ground breaking approaches to the public and private sector change agenda.
